Love the staff, amazing quality coffee and cheap food , love that its dog friendly and it accommodates for everyone including vegetarians and vegans. Brilliant atmosphere and beats high chains like costa
Really sound little cafe right by a sizable park and a minutes walk on tarmac path from the car park. Ideal for a post dog walk coffee as they allow dogs in (even if they bark), and have a soft play area so your mini goblins can amuse themselves while you relentlessly gorge on their awesome cakes and high quality breakfasts.Ingredients for their food are top end, with a simple but well executed menu with just enough choice for a breakfast, brunch, elevenses, lunch, ot snacks between meals.
Queens park is beautiful and well kept. There is a river and duck pond. A sunken garden, and amphitheatre that is used for outdoor concerts. There is an outdoor gym which is free to use. An extensive children's play area. Also a cafe that is dog friendly. Two large car parks.
Wonderful and friendly staff. The menu is reasonable and portions are good. The "soft play" area is quite disappointing though.
Not good. I ordered vegetable soup. What I was given was unmistakably Heinz tinned vegetable soup. It was given me in a cup and without any bread! I also ordered some chips which were somehow quite disappointing. Had an odd taste. Maybe they were oven chips or something.
