The church of Saint John, Farnworth and Kearsley have a ring of 8 bells cast by John Taylor & Co. of Loughborough in 1954. The tenor bell weighs 626 kg and the ring is in the key of G. Other than a monthly peal by members of the Lancashire Association of Change Ringers, there is no resident band so there is no other regular ringing on the bells.
