Food OK Yorkshire pudding wrap horrible complained straight away STAFF don't check how thing are I had to go to the bar.. but the cook didn't get the complaint until later wasn't aloud a refund only a drink they sent Again the wrong children's meals
A lovely place, I what used to be the old court building - daytime appears to be filled with mature guys watching sports, so if that's your thing then here's a comfortable location to do just that. In the evening the clientele are a good cross section of decent people. What does let the place down is the lack of productivity behind the bar. Pleasant though the staff are, they lack control of their environment and are simply too slow when making drinks. This is a management issue without doubt, and a quick well versed I drinks team of staff would go a long way to having the place run rather more smoothly in the evenings.
Improving which is a good start, had some great nights in here back in the day

Very impressed with quality of "pub" food. Clean and bright place...not like the old sawdusty floors etc. Reasonable price. Very tasty, 1st time in there for 40 years...finished off with the traditional "blob"....bit like a honey and lemon cold cure with a slight hint of sherry. Oh the memories. ,,,,,,
