Appalled yesterday evening by the service received from S&D Taxis. Booked a taxi well in advance 5pm for 6pm (that is after the woman who answered the phone stopped her own conversation). Rang back as no sign of taxi, no usual text message to same woman again after own conversation & laughing down phone informs me the taxi is on its way. I phone again 15mins later. A rude man on the phone tells me the original taxi booked couldn't find me. I informed him I had been stood outside on Bridgeman St & no taxi had passed. He changes this to someone else got in my taxi and another was 1min away. A blatant lie & when challenged about the way a customer of 10yrs + is treated decides to rudely hang up. Rang back as still no taxi to someone else who apologised for such a delay & poor customer care. A total of 40mins later on a bitter cold eve a taxi finally arrived. A lovely driver who gave me a managers number. Manager stated via text he would call today regarding such poor service. No call received hence this review. Appalled this is how long term customers are treated. I will discontinue using S&D & stick to using Elton instead. This is a shame because there are some great drivers & switchboard staff who are let down by the rest.
Worst taxi company ever.. Very rude customer service.. Can never refer or ever use them again. Very unreliable. They let u down and frustrate u with no apologies
Stupidly slow service. Been told that a taxi should arrive with 10 minutes of calling the second time to track it down then have been waiting 45 minutes for it to arrive. Also the taxi drivers make up the amount you should be paying. Complete rip off. Sort out your drivers and fix them to a rate.
First time use of taxis today because of mum's appt in town.. Arrived on time. Pick up also on time. Brilliant. Thanks for making this stress free.
Lots of good commutes using S&D but when I needed a minibus, due to having too many bags, they told me it would be approximately double my normal price (4.50 X2)... They sent a slightly bigger car than usual and expected us to be okay with this.When we told the driver it wouldn't all fit in his car, he proceeded to wander into our house to take a look at what we wanted to put in his car. He then said "It's fine, put it in".We won't be using them again.
