Tidy station
I work in Bolton so go there everyday. The market is brilliant and there's an eccellent Indian department store. Much better than Wigan but the town centre is a bit rough.
So many times the trains have been cancelled/delayed and no clear information ever presented. The staff at the tickets desk have always got a face like a slapped arse and always seem to argue with everyone. Awful service and thanks to them not making signs clearer, I have missed so many 9am starts! Ridiculous.
Better than the last time travelling via this station. The refit has definitely improved the station and the WHSmiths shop is a plus. Seating and toilets must be waiting for the next stage of the refit. Staff at the barriers helpful and friendly unfortunately member of staff on the platform useless.
I liked Queens park only. Otherwise very littery city
