So, I went here today, first thing you see is the poor Meerkat in the window, by itself, dish of cat food, no friends to play with, enough said. The fish tanks looked clean, clear water and the tanks were being cleaned whilst I was there, fish looked pretty healthy...but then you come to the back room, where the reptiles, birds and small animals are kept. Every single hamster enclosure had a rusty looking wire wheel inside, don't understand why as their feet can get injured in those, there was a beautiful large rabbit, in a small enclosure, hopping continuously in circles I'm assuming from sheer boredom which even now is on my mind, if i had a garden id have bought him just to get him the hell out of there! They need to give the Meerkat to a zoo, stop selling small animals and just focus on the fish.

The place is like a fish museum probably more variety than bolton fish museum at town hall. Reptile section has some decent variety of Boa, pythons and snake.Cleanliness is an issue at this place.

I enjoyed my visit to Dave's Aquarium. There are a huge variety of different supplies, ranging from decorations for fish, from gravel and tanks. There are lots of fish to choose from, and most of the tanks I cannot fault. However, I am concerned about the size of the Betta Fish tanks (There's more water in my pint glass than in their small cube). It was disheartening to see these beautiful fish look dead/stressed due to their insanely ridiculous tanks. I would expect a store as large and clean as this to put the care of fish at the very top. This led to me not making a purchase, and should the aquarium provide better tanks, I would instantly return and make this store one of my top three.

Not bad for a private pet shop. The fish tanks are good and have plenty of variety. They have a huge abundance of small animal and bird toys and cages. My only concern is the single meerkat and the fact a few of the cages for sale were used and uncleaned. Otherwise I love the use of caresheets for potential new pet owners and the staff are friendly and happy to help.

This place is ace. I could spend a full day here just looking at the fish. Also a pet's part that has parrots birds snakes spiders rabbits and lots more. If you like fishing there is a big section of fishing gear for sale.. really worth a visit even for a look round with you family
