John really did yet another great maintainance job on mine, Bella's and Eva's bikes.They are all running great again having had a tune up and a few bits replaced to keep us safe on the winter roads. Its always a pleasure and friendly shop to visit. A little local gem
John and Simon at Green Maxhine are absolutely great people. Never give you bad advice and will never upsell! If you need something and they think a part for next to nothing is the answer then they will always be honest.Ive always had outstanding customer service, great conversations and always remembered by name. Keep it local, think before saving a quid on the web, this place is simply fantastic. Part of the Heart of Horwich. Even have a table for passing cyclists to have a brew! How civilised. Also John is an outstanding mechanic and wheel builder!! Built my touring bike Wheeks to true perfection which have no wobbled or breakages in over 10 000 miles over many years. Same on my mountain bike.Could not rate more highly! Keep it up fellas.Thanks James
Very good staff and helpfull
I purchased a bike from John at Green Machine who gave me 1st class advice, and a better deal than I could find anywhere on the internet. I rode the bike from the shop with no further adjustments required, then checked it over at home and didn't even find a bolt loose! Perfect job well done. I would recommend Green Machine rather than any of the big bicycle outlets without hesitation.
The man I spoke to literally said "I'm not a bike snob but I would rather walk than ride that bike'' and no he wasn't joking. I went in for a repair and he just turned his nose up because I wasn't riding a Colnago. Extremely rude, won't be going back. I recommend Cycle Surgeon if you value reasonable prices and friendly customer service.
