Staff friendly but I took the car in, by appointment, to have two tyres fitted and balanced, which I thought would take no longer than 30 minutes. It took almost two hours to do the job, which I thought was quite excessive and not acceptable. I will not be returning.

Recently had a blow out on the motorway. Rescued by Green Flag (highly recommended) Later had to arrange for fitting of a new tyre and went to Halfords who were very quick to deal with the replacement tyre. Very courteous and person centred approach to my predicament. Graham
Took my 25 year old Camper Van down to my local Halfords Autocentre in Bolton because of a serious problem with failed brakes. The mechanics carried out the necessary diagnosis and kept me fully informed of the work that would be required. Not surprisingly, given the age of the vehicle, replacement parts had to be ordered and it took 2 days to complete the work.I was pleasantly surprised that Halfords Autocentre agreed to undertake the work and very pleased with the completed work. All credit to the professionalism and skill of the staff - Tony, Andy & Chris.I will definitely use their services again.
