Absolutely shocking place to try and get an appointment, so bad I'm surprised they don't answer the phone with "How can I be as little help as possible" Constantly fob you off trying to make appointments elsewhere. Tell you to call at 8 am on the day to book an appointment then you can't get through. The most obstructive receptionists anywhere without doubt. Strange really because if you need to book an appointment when spoken to a Dr there's no problem with him booking it.
I'm writing a good review for once on this site.a new lady called Kirsty on the reception has been very helpful and honestly gone above and beyond too help me out and get an appointment and a telephone call off the doctor.witch in this place is very unusual thanx again Kirsty for your kindness kind regards Ian oakes
Absolutely useless and unhelpful doctor's here, missed an appointment and now they will not see me at all, playing (n) gods, run for away from this place if you ask me, if one dr is on holiday the whole surgery is as if close, no one call me for a week to tell me what's going on with my appointment alone, then after refusing to give me an appointment they did not give me my full document back which I gave them week ago, I mean list is endless, just find another GP is bust.
All the Doctors are brilliant at this surgery. So are the staff. Can always get an appointment quickly. best Doctors surgery in the district would certainly recommend
I have been with this practice for over 12 years, whilst it can be difficult sometimes to get an appointment, you can always turn up on the day and wait. As this is a first come first served system you will have to wait your turn. They operate a card system before they actually open so if you get there at say 07:30 and you're the first person there, pick the card marked 1 and when the practice opens at 09:00, book yourself in you will be seen first, simple! Get there after 09:00 go to the window they will book you in and you wait until your name appears on the wall message, again simple! If the waiting room looks full don't despair, many of those might be waiting for other services like nursing services, flue jabs, or child inoculations etc. If you are a registered patient and you need to speak to your GP but not necessarily see your GP you can ring, ask to speak to them and after a few questions from the staff they will decide if it might be better you attend in person if necessary or if not they will include you on a ring back from your own GP. When your GP either finds time between patients or at the end of the patients in the waiting room, you will receive a call back by your GP, again simple... I don't understand some of the complaints I have seen posted, Yes sometimes the staff could friendlier, but they too are human, with their own problems, and the person before you might have been one of those self centered winging buggers who turn up on the day hoping to jump in front of all those other patients who have appointments . Yes the list might be long, but that's because there are a lot of patients who are HAPPY with the services provided you DUMMY! So stop winging, get there early, pick a card, book yourself in, sit yourself down, and wait like everyone else!!!
