I feel personally conned by a 200 consultation lasting 6 minutes,I knew I had a hernia and did not need it confirming, when I rang for information I did inform whoever I had a hernia and needed it repairing urgently, beginning of January was the reply I requested a consultation, after 6 minutes of telling me what I ready knew with an attitude of not interested I was then informed he could not do it till the end of February so you might as well wait for N H S ,200 thank you, utterly disappointed.and disgusted.mr kenyon
Excellent attention to everyone
The only reason I'm giving one star is because of the young lady in Radiology who was welcoming and courteous otherwise I would have given no stars. I tried to book an appointment for a scan, I rang directly through to Radiology on numerous occasions and couldnt get through so left messages only for the department to call back on the next working day, which i feel is extremely poor considering BMI is a private establishment and was expecting a far better response and the whole purpose of going through private medical care is for earlier appointments but if you dont get your calls answered how does one get past the first hurdle. And a message to the person who responds to this message, rather than give the switchboard number to us complainants and make us go through all the options you should give out a direct number where we can speak directly to yourself. Very very poor.
Been at the Beaumont today as a day patient, having a minor procedure under general anaesthetic, arrived at 7.20am, greeted by a lovely lady on reception, shown to my room & advised of the wifi/tv channels available etc by a really cheerful gentleman, admitted by the most professional friendly staff you could wish for, met with the surgeon & anaesthetist who talked me through everything, in surgery by 8.30, woke up in recovery an hour later to 2 lovely ladies one of whom was singing along to the radio, really cheery, really relaxed. Back up to my lovely room where I've been monitored continually, served a delicious light meal of my choice & a pot of great coffee. Now up, getting dressed & ready to be discharged. What an amazing service this is, all down to a team of polite, professional, friendly people who are definitely providing care that would exceed anyone's expectations. Thank you all so much x
Tried to use the facilities of the hospital to no avail as in several hundred pounds out of pocket for a process that takes two hours from start to finish.Bottom line is not very impressed with this place.
