Been shopping here for years and so has all of my family. Unfortunately in recent years its gone pretty downhill. Theres always some rough smokers and drugs persons at the entrance and nothing is done about it. Trolleys are usually a mess and obstructing the road. Biggest issue and problem currently is the no human at the till in the evening. Not sure what the wisdom behind this ridiculous money grabbing decision but it causes absolute havoc and unnecessary delays and anger.

Busy day here today. Staff look tired but still polite and respectful. The store was clean and tidy.
If you like shopping with the cast of shamless then this store is for you!It honestly is like the walking dead, dirty smokers all around the entrance waiting for taxis with their 10 kids running wild. The smoking needs addressing as it's near the entrance and also near the cash machines in an enclosed space, sorry but I don't want cancer with other peoples cancer sticks, dirty habit!Around the entrance looks like a car boot sale with trolleys and dump stacks everywhere, it's so messy.There is also NEVER no baskets near the door when you walk in, how are you supposed to shop without a basket!
Asda on Manchester Road is a shop where you can get all your shopping done in one place. I know finding a parking space is quite hard, but once you go there, you can grab a bite in their cafe while shopping. My only complaint is that there is a male toilet attendant in the ladies toilets. I had to pick up other people's mess although I didn't do it. Overall, I am rating Asda five stars.
