Wow tried to get multiple viewings on a property and they claimed to ring me. Yeah right, liers. Worst case is complained to the manager who uses words such as we agree to disagree. Waste of time liers.
Edwards was one of a few agents in Bolton we spoke to when we were selling my mother in laws house. We met Alexander who was a straight talking chap and went with Edwards. We had a volume of viewers very quickly, had a few offers and advised to reject one that was close to the asking price as Edwards felt the property was worth more...as indeed it was because the offer was increased. All viewings were accompanied as my 83 year old mother in law was not up to doing them herself. They had done the job we were paying for and got us a buyer for the house we thought. This was only the start and is where Deirdre took over and micro managed every part of the legal process, buyers mortgage application survey reports special survey reports all of which was unfamiliar to us. During the 6 weeks of selling we would get a couple of emails, texts or calls keeping us updated with progress and she keep the whole process moving forward. The property was sold and the solicitors paid there bill all was fine. Three weeks later we get a knock on the door, the new owners had found a watch of my late father in laws and taken it the Edwards office which they hand delivered to us. Above and beyond. I don't know if we were just very lucky or this is their normal level of care but I would have no hesitation in recommending them as an agent. This is a genuine review and I have no relationship with the business now but I have told Deirdre that she can give my mobile to anyone for verification.
James and David have been an amazing team to work with in selling and buying our new home. We had our property on with another agent when our first buyer pulled out. At the time, we'd already see a house advertised by Edwards which was all ready to complete when this happened. These chaps were fantastic with us, just a great team! We ended up moving from the agent we had our property on with and using these guys due to the outstanding customer service they offered us. They relisted the property and within a week it was sold to a new buyer. We were also lucky enough to be able to continue with the purchase of the original house we wanted, and all in time for Christmas (21st Dec, we must be mad). Both James and David held my hand through this horrid process and put up with what seemed like hundreds of calls to them from me. I can't thank them both enough.
