Very unprofessional rang to arrange to view a property 9.30 monday morning after the property had only gone up the friday before ,to be told the earliest viewing was Saturday so agreed to this appointment. on the Friday the site advertising the property had it STC I rang to confirm my Saturday appointment and they denied all knowledge of any appointment being made. the manager did not even have the decency to reply any of our calls.
I requested for Your Move at Bolton to sell my property. I dealt with Amanda who was fantastic she was always in contact with me regularly with updates and I was always able to get in contact with her. She is very experienced and also chased the solicitors when needed to make sure we were on track for completetion. This would normally be a very stressful time however Amanda made this so easy. I would recommend Your Move to anyone buying or selling a property. The best part was the house I purchased was with Your Move Bolton so it was all plain sailing.
AVOID, complete useless agency and the most expensive in Bolton. Never again!!!!!
AVOID when using this estate agent for LETTINGS. Do not be fooled by the positive review from Trustpilot as the vast majority of the positive reviews are for the sales department only, if you look closely at the reviews a vast majority are very negative for the Letting and it is very understandable from my experience and many others. I truly regret using Yourmove as a letting agent and I write this review to help pre-warn anyone who considers to use them not to make the same mistake as me and avoid using them. There are so many better open and honest letting agents in the area and I'd strongly consider against using them, as this is a letting agent who only seeks it own personal financial gain and has little interest in providing a good service to what is best for the Tennant and Landlord. The fees are not openly displayed in the true value when they should be online or in the branch (only brief description) and they should be punished for this. As a heads up here is the true transparency of the fees you will receive in the Bolton branch that they will keep quiet as possible- the application fee is 240 (which I discovered is one of the highest/the highest of all lettings agents in the area). Then after your security deposit and rent, this is where it gets interesting. They will ONLY offer you 2 forms of tenancy contract - 6 months up for renewal OR 12 months with a 6month cool of period then up for renewal. If you wish to renew your tenancy you will be charged 120. If you wish to not renew you tenancy you will charged ironically 120 which will taken out of your own security deposit. You will not receive your full deposit when leaving regardless the condition of the property. There is a clear system in place for Yourmove to gain an annual financial gain from the tenants regardless if they choose to stay or go. This is not common practice and a majority of good honest letting agents would not do this and would openly offer you a periodic tenancy with out the need for renewal which would benefit the tenant and the landlord rather the letting agents own financial greed. Even still the fee are disgustingly high for doing either task which require minimal resources or finances. So if the fees have not put you off il describe my own experience whilst using Yourmove as a letting agent to justify how there high fees do not even reflect any level of high quality of service or professionalism. In fact it complete opposite because all I've had is poor standard of service, poor communication and even worse deception to the standard of property I was lead to be receiving when I got my keys. When receiving the keys the inventory was not present, and I encountered numerous issues with the property that was not present during original viewing. When phoning the branch they was VERY quick to distance themselves completely from anything to do with the property, there response and attitude is it has nothing to do with them and has to be dealt with there maintenance department in Southampton now. This was on the first day I obtained my keys and was promised prior to this the property would be ready. It is clear the branch only true interest is to obtain your signature knowing fully well once they have they will diminish all responsibility of you as a customer and palm onto there other departments.I truly hope to whoever is reading this review to really re-consider using Yourmove as a letting agent as I truly regret it and made a mistake. I felt obligated once proceeding with the application to commit to tenancy and my personal circumstances really required me needing a home at the time. Don't make the same mistake as me and look elsewhere towards a genuine honest letting agent your area
