My son treated me for my birthday. We had afternoon tea and it was amazing. The menu and other peoples lunch looked so good, I shall be returning to try the homemade soup and toasted sandwich. The staff do a fantastic job polite pleasant and the place is spotless. It tells you that a place is spot on when it's full to capacity at 1pm on a week day.First class.. well done

Nice walking areas short & long distances. The hall has good displays and better than I expected. Tea room serve nice soup, sandwiches and cakes.
Nice parkland and plenty of shade to walk your dog or dog's but PLEASE remember to pick up after them and take notice if they left a poop if you have them off lead DON'T leave it for others to walk in, it's inconsiderate and disgusting !It's wonderful for weddings and the surrounding gardens are perfect for those romantic wedding photos. Scattered seating along the paths to take a rest if you need to be kind to your joints.
